Leominster Ramblers Walks Programme

Ramblers Groups Walks Programmes:

Ramblers Group Information:

Meeting places

  • Before a walk, we meet in the Car Park next to Leominster Fire Station in Arkwright Close at the bottom of Broad Street, referred to in the Programme as LFSCP! If an alternative meeting place is given, the leader may not be coming to LFSCP, so be prepared to meet the leader at the location grid ref. given. There is usually someone taking a car from LFSCP for those who have no transport, so f you need a lift, it can be arranged or, if you can offer a lift to others, it will be welcomed. We do encourage car sharing, for environmental reasons, and ask participants to make a contribution of about £1.50 towards the driver’s expenses. Telephone the leader if you need to check directions. “CP” on the programme means car park.

Refreshment

  • Always bring a packed lunch unless a half day walk is indicated. “BPL” on the programme means bring packed lunch!

Subscriptions

  • The current annual subscription is £4.00 per year payable on 1st January. Cheques should be sent to Mrs E.C. Andrews, Treasurer, Gawsworth, North Road, Kingsland, Leominster HR6 9RZ. If you join after 1st July, £2.00 is payable to cover the remainder of the year.

Insurance

  • Whilst every effort will be made to ensure the safe enjoyment of our walks, it must be understood that all walkers do so at their own risk. Walk leaders can hold no responsibility for accidents whilst taking part in Club walks. The Club has public liability insurance arranged through the Ramblers’ Association with a limit of indemnity of £1,000,000
