General Notes - Nodiadau Cyffredinol
Ramblers requiring transport from Pontypool Leisure Centre ( OS Ref. 286006 ) are advised to either arrange a lift or telephone the leader beforehand as many members now go direct to the starting point of the walk.
Members going direct to the starting point should ensure they are clear about it’s location and arrive in sufficient time to be ready to go at the stated start time.
In the event of inclement weather walks may have to be cancelled or amended at the discretion of the leader.
Members must be suitably clad with boots or stout shoes and waterproofs in case of bad weather. Leaders have the right to refuse to take anyone on the walk if they are not suitably clothed. It is also recommended that members carry a simple First Aid Kit.
Members are asked to follow the advice and instructions of the leader and to stay behind him/her unless otherwise advised.
Walks with more than average climbing are marked “Strenuous”
All persons participating in walks do so at their own risk.
