Outdoor Activities Operators in the Brecon Beacons National Park - Walking

Guidelines:

The Brecon Beacons is the major centre for walking in South Wales. The remoteness of the Carmarthenshire Fans, the "wild west", the long ridges of the Black Mountains and the sheer splendour of the Brecon Beacons Central Massif make this a popular choice with walkers. Offa's Dyke long distance runs along the far eastern boundary of the National Park and the Taff Trail long distance footpath encircles the central area.  In addition there are 1250 miles of public footpaths. Walking opportunities include canal towpaths, gorge walking, challenging high ridges, and waterfall country.

The Brecon Beacons National Park has a guided walks programme and in addition there are many ramblers groups which frequently include walks in the National Park in their programme.
