Hay on Wye Literature Festival 
Hay on Wye is a market town in the Black Mountains.  It has a population of around 1,200 people, thirty-eight bookshops and hosts one of the finest literature festivals held anywhere in the world. Late May early June every year.

Royal Welsh Show  The premier agricultural show in Wales held annually in July on a permanent showground in Builth Wells. Trade Stands and Livestock Competitions - a cross section of rural agricultural Wales.

Abergavenny Food Festival a weekend packed with events and tastings all about food. Over 50 stalls of local and regional foods. Guest celebrity cooks and writers. Join cooking master classes. tastings children's events,  talks and a non stop display of culinary craftsmanship on stage. Brecon Beacons Food Festival at the Mountain Centre
The aim of the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority’s Food Festival is to provide a shop window for food producers from the National Park and surrounding areas. The National Park Authority aims to boost the food and farming industry by increasing people’s awareness of the variety and quality of what is available locally.  All welcome to come along to savour the tastes and enjoy a packed weekend of events.

The Llantilio Crossenny Festival of Music and Drama   is comprised of classical music and opera performances by leading professionals spread over a weekend.  All held in delightful country church at Llantilio Crossenny, Near Abergavenny.
