Salix Project Supported by Welsh Office and European Objective 5b funding, the Salix Project promotes the on farm growing of willow as a commercial crop for Mid Wales.

Primrose Organic Centre, Dr Paul Benham, Felindre, BRECON, Powys, LD3 0ST Tel:  01497 847636 The one-and-one-third acres of land which  farmed under the permaculture principle produce an abundance of crops enough to sell £14,000 of fruit, herbs and vegetables - and with no government support. This project includes a one-third acre forest garden which contains no less than 90 different varieties of fruit and nut trees, plus a wide range of crops creating a sustainable system that is in harmony with the environment. Groups welcome by prior arrangement and courses in organic and sustainable production for all ages.
